Fabio Tasso is an Italian sculptor who lives in Savona, a city in the northwest of Italy. Since 2015 he has taught Artistic Anatomy and Life Drawing in the Fine Art Academy of Genoa.
His artistic research is focused on the topological links between space and body, emptiness and fullness, surface and material. He establishes productive processes building machineries: his sculptures are only collateral remains that have almost nothing that comes from him but the basic idea. In this process, the artist is not an individual but a kind of industry.
During his stay in San Francisco, he is going to make three different sculptures-producing machineries and two additional projects related to two dimensions.
