For this exhibition, Haleigh Nickerson presents photographs and video work compiling still self-portrait photographs, that form fragmented narrative-like explorations of performed identity and projected notions of womanhood. Still explores race, femininity and gender within the context of imposed gender roles and the domestic space. Still moves through aspects of repetition and the bodies' stillness, using role play in questioning where the agency lays within these spaces.
