Join Fieldworks Collaborative for an afternoon celebration and chit-chat, launching their new project Tribute honoring everyday activists working on critical environmental and food justice fronts in the Bay Area. On Sunday December 9th Fieldworks will host a conversation with 2018 Tributees to engage with pressing questions on environmental and food justice community fronts:
Wanda Stewart, Urban Farmer, and Food Justice Educator
Carl Anthony, Community-based Environmental Justice Activist
Dr. Gretchen LeBuhn, Scientist and Advocate for Native Pollinators
Along with this parlor-style conversation you will sample tastes of Fieldwork's new vodka-infused spirits inspired by three local visionaries and made with fruits, herbs, botanicals and other edibles harvested from the backyard and neighborhoods of our tributees. Along with our spirit tasting, we will serve some homemade treats from our new non-alcoholic beverage concoctions. This event is free, but we have limited space, so let us know you are coming by registering here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tribute-chit-chat-and-spirit-tasting-registration-52987977467
