Anna Heywood-Jones
Anna Heywood-Jones is a Canadian artist based in Vancouver, BC. Her practice is focused on building regional lexicons of color and exploring the complex relationship between human and botanical spheres. Through her work Heywood-Jones strives to convey notions of slow loss and transformation, examining the metamorphic nature of human, vegetal and geological expressions of existence alongside the ephemeral beauty of lived experience. She holds an MFA degree from NSCAD University and a BFA degree from Emily Carr University.
